The UNN AAG Submarine Cable Rectification project was a critical operation to restore the Asia-America Gateway (AAG) submarine cable network in Brunei. The AAG cable, which provides high-speed bandwidth to the sultanate, had experienced service disruptions due to an attempted theft of the DC power cable, leaving it damaged. Telnet was immediately contacted to assist and rectify the issue.

  • Cable Repair and Restoration: The project involved the repair and restoration of a damaged DC power cable. The cable had been damaged due to theft and vandalism, causing disruptions to the AAG submarine cable network.

  • Security Enhancement: As part of the rectification process, the manhole cover was secured and reinforced with a welded bar to prevent future theft attempts.
