Project Overview: In June 2026, Telnet PRAC delivered a 2-day Rope Access Safety & Health Officer (RASHO) programme for 5 personnel from the Department of Electrical Services (DES) at our UCC training centre. The course equipped participants with the skills to oversee rope access operations, assess risk, inspect equipment, and enforce safety standards across work-at-height activities.
Impact: This training strengthens DES's in-house safety oversight capability, giving the department certified personnel who can independently manage risk, enforce compliance, and lead emergency response planning across its rope access operations — reducing reliance on external safety officers for future height-related work.
